Services Offered

  • Neighborhood Ministries is a hub of community activity where basic necessities of life are joyfully met, including providing a safe place for youth and families to engage in sports, education, activities, and the arts.

    • Sueños Youth Center: Offers comprehensive education assistance to opportunity youth, making a long-term commitment to their growth and development from pre-school to post high school studies. The goal of Education For Life is to see youth succeed by providing an educational and mentoring support system aimed at developing “Emerging Leaders” too make a positive change in their communities.

    • Food Bank: The food provided is available to anyone in the community who is experiencing the need. Drive Thru Distribution every Friday 8am-11am. Picture ID, Proof of Address requested.

    • Parenting Por Vida: Serves pregnant and parenting individuals by offering resources and training in understanding of specific age children regarding brain development, developmental milestones, bonding and attachment, play as learning, communication, increase of positive interaction between parent and child.

    • Neighbors at Work: Assists youth and young adults in obtaining and maintaining employment. We help them reach financial stability and self-sufficiency through employment training, life skills development, case management, career advising, tuition assistance and much more.

    • El Mercado Thrift Store: Offers low-cost items. Offers program to parents of youth in our programs to volunteer each week, earning credit to purchase items at the thrift store.

    • Healing Journeys: Support program for women working towards emotional and social healing and development.

    • Katy’s Kids Preschool: An affordable preschool serving 3–5-year-old in preparing students for kindergarten and developing a foundation for a lifetime of learning.

    • Kids Life: Life changing spiritual development towards a life of hope and significance. Introduces children to the opportunity of summer events of Kids Club and Kids Camp.

    • OpportuniTees: A custom screen-printing and embroidery business, which employs men and women from our community. Provide hope through jobs, employing under-resourced men and women, teaching job and life skills, helping them to become productive members of the community

    • Mercy Minds: An alliance of mental health professionals provides resources and compassionate care to facilitate wholeness and emotional health to the underserved in our community. Services available through referral only.

Eligibility

  • Eligible to enroll in school, eligible to work in the US.

  • Additional services are case by case basis upon assessment.

Required Documents

  • Intake Form, Consent to Services Document, Proof of Identification (Picture ID), Birth Cert, Social Security Number, Specific Documentation for SNAP CAN (Food Stamp Number), Additional Documentation on case by case basis upon assessment.

    • Submit Intake Form, schedule meeting program enrollment and eligibility verification, eligible to enroll in school, eligible to work in the US, receive supporting documentation (3-5 days).
