reengagement centers

A Reengagement Center is a site or organization that conducts active outreach to engage youth (ages 16-24) who are out of school and not working and assist them in resuming their education and/or training to become career ready. A Reengagement Center may also provide individualized assessment, case management, and other services to support youth in returning to school or work.

Representatives from each Reengagement Center together comprise the Reengagement Center Action Team.

GOAL:

RECONNECT OPPORTUNITY YOUTH TO EDUCATION, WORK, AND THE WRAP AROUND SERVICES THAT WILL SUPPORT THEM IN THIS PROCESS

FOCUS:

align reengagement practices, performances, and processes across reengagement centers in Maricopa County.

Note: these pathway numbers include internal/external co-enrollment, in other words, 4,476 was used as the denominator in % calculations (supportive services only = 24%)

Adult Education includes:
•Number of OY enrolled in adult education program - High School Equivalency, 357 (8%)
•Number of OY retained in adult education program - English Language Classes, 78 (2%)
