Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) is a public school district that provides industry-standard career training programs for both high school and adult students in Phoenix, Arizona. West-MEC focuses solely on innovative career and technical education programs that prepare students with the advanced skills necessary to enter the workforce and pursue continuing education at our education center.

Eligibility
For most programs, West-MEC requires the student to be a current high school sophomore, junior, or senior with one credit of English with a C or better. As well as one credit of Algebra or higher with a C or better.
For our medical programs, students must have one credit of a lab science with a C or better.
For Adult Education - High School graduate or GED

High School Programs - Unofficial high school transcript, Birth Certificate, Immunization records, Proof of residency in West-MEC boundaries
Adult Education - High School Diploma, Government-issued ID

High School Programs - For most programs, we require a $125 registration fee
