Chicanos Por La Causa Workforce Solutions

CPLC Workforce Solutions provides education and employability services for Phoenix youth and young adults ages 14 through 24. Through a network of business and inter-agency collaborations we serve as a pathway for young people to succeed in the workforce.

Eligibility

  • Depends on the situation of the need.

Required Documents

  • Social Security Card (required)

  • School Status – Any 1 of the following

    • GED Certificate

    • H.S. Diploma

    • School Records from last school attended

    • Dropout letter

  • Legal Identification- Any 1 of the following

    • AZ State ID

    • AZ Driver’s License

    • Passport

    • Permanent Resident Card or Green Card

    • DACA documents

    • Authorization to work documents

  • Proof of low income – Any 1 of the following

    • SNAP/Food Stamps letter

    • 6 most recent paystubs

    • W2

    • TANF

  • For Homeless/Runaway Youth

    • Written statement

    • Proof of Date of Birth- Any 1 of the following

      • Birth Certificate

      • Passport

      • Baptismal Record

  • Family Size – any 1 of the following for each family member

    • Social security card

    • Birth certificate

    • Public assistance letter

    • Most recent income tax return

  • Employment Status (if applicable) – any 1 of the following

    • 2 most recent paystubs

    • W2

  • Foster care – any 1 of the following

    • Court records

    • Letter from group home

    • Arizona Department of Child Safety records

  • Selective Service Registration for all male youth 18+ years.

  • Individuals with Disabilities must provide documentation necessary to prove disability.

  • Does your organization provide funding for required documentation?

    • Yes, for any of the following

      • Birth Certificate

      • Driver’s License/ State ID

  • Do they need to be found eligible for your program?

    • Yes, only for youth enrolled in the program.

    • Services can be provided only to youth who are enrolled in the program.
